With this behemoth churning away under the hood, you can go up to 129 mph with a zero-to-60 time of just 5.8 seconds.</p><p>The 2.4-liter engine comes with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the 3.5-liter goes with a nine-speed automatic.</p>
Performance
<p>In 2017, the TLX offers two drivetrain systems. The base model gets a front-wheel drive system that's highly maneuverable, while the all-wheel drive is only available with the 3.5-liter engine. Acura's patented Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system ensures exceptional handling no the weather.</p><p>As far as fuel economy, little changes regardless of which system you choose. The front-wheel drive 2.4-liter TLX provides a whopping 35 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway and 24 mpg in the city, and the 3.5-liter front-wheel drive gives you 34 mpg highway and 21 in the city. The 3.5-liter all-wheel drive offers 31 mpg highway and 21 mpg in the city.</p>
Interior
The TLX comes loaded with interior amenities like heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and ambient lighting. With the Technology Package, you'll enjoy added benefits such as a 10-speaker stereo system, voice recognition, and premium leather seating. The Advance Package provides an adaptive cruise control setting and heated and ventilated front seats.
Safety Features
The 2017 TLX received a five-star safety*** rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration thanks to a bevy of advanced safety features.
