2023 Acura MDX

You can get the 2023 Acura MDX in six trims: MDX, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, Type S, and Type S Advance. The MDX will feature 19-inch wheels and a panoramic sunroof. Moving up to the Technology adds 20-inch wheels and power-folding outside mirrors. The A-Spec features a sportier exterior on top of the Technology features. On the Advance, you can expect to see a hands-free liftgate and roof rails. The Type S and Type S Advance feature 21-inch wheels and Type S-specific front-end styling elements.

The 2023 Acura MDX is powered by two different engines, depending on the trim you select. The MDX, Technology, A-Spec, and Advance all feature a 3.5-liter V-6 paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. You get 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque with this combination. The sportier Type S and Type S Advance have a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that delivers 355 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

Acura understands how much drivers love performance-enhancing features so the latest MDX will come packed with standard and available features. Front-wheel drive is standard on the MDX and Technology, with all-wheel drive available, while standard on all other trims. AWD gives you more confidence and control over various road and weather conditions. The front-wheel-drive models can tow up to 3,500 pounds, with the AWD reaching 5,000 pounds. With that towing capacity, you can take a lot of fun up to the cabin for a weekend adventure. The Type S and Type S Advance also offer sport-tuned adaptive air suspension and Brembo brakes for a sportier performance.

Even at the base level, the 2023 Acura MDX has a lot to offer in comfort, convenience, and luxury. On the MDX, you get simulated leather upholstery, tri-zone climate control, a Wi-Fi hot spot, wireless charging pad, USB ports in the first and second rows, a nine-speaker audio system, and a 12.3-inch central display with touchpad controller, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Technology adds passenger seat memory controls, leather upholstery, a navigation system, interior ambient lighting, rear window shades, and a 12-speaker ELS sound system. You get a cabin intercom system, ventilated front seats, suede seat inserts, and a 16-speaker ELS premium audio system on the A-Spec. Moving up to the Advance adds upgraded front seats with leather upholstery, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, a second-row household outlet, and third-row USB ports. The Type S Advance tops it off with a 25-speaker ELS sound system and upgraded front seats with massage.

Standard safety features on the 2023 Acura MDX include forward collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. You also get an advanced air bag system to protect you in an accident. Higher trims offer a surround-view camera and head-up display to round it out.
